The Classic 3 uses the same Keo cleat interface as the rest of Look's road range, so the skills and the cleats carry over if you upgrade later — but the retention is friendlier and the price is not intimidating for someone still getting used to clipping out at intersections.

The composite body keeps weight and cost down without giving up much platform width, so power transfer stays solid. Adjustable spring tension means you can start soft while you build the habit, then wind it up as you get confident.
