Sphere KinetiCore Helmet

The Sphere sits below the Z1 in Lazer's road range and is arguably the better value of the two. It carries the same KinetiCore technology — rotational impact protection built directly into the EPS foam as controlled crumple zones, rather than added as a separate slip liner — in a slightly heavier, slightly less vented package.

For most riders that trade is worth making. It is still a light, well-ventilated road helmet with the same retention system and the same safety approach; you are giving up grams and a few watts of cooling, not protection. A sensible choice for a daily road helmet.

• KinetiCore integrated rotational impact protection
• ScrollSys one-handed retention adjustment
• Well-ventilated road helmet design
• Eyewear docking ports
• Removable, washable padding
• Available in multiple sizes

Come and compare it against the Z1 on your own head at Wheels of Oakville — the difference is easier to feel than to read about.
